Our personal alarm for the elderly will send an automatic alert to our 24 hour lifeline alarm response centre if your loved one falls
We immediately alert their emergency contacts or call the ambulance, fire or police services if required in an emergency situation
The fall alarm button can also be manually pressed to raise an alert even if they haven't fallen, potentially life-saving in the event of heart attacks or strokes etc.
Our lifeline alarm response centre will speak through the digital base unit - no need to reach for a phone
Our personal alarm service for the elderly includes:
Initial 3 months monitoring from our 24/7 Lifeline Alarm Response Centre
Falls detector alarm watch (with wrist strap)
Digital alarm base unit (pictured)
Fully roaming built-in SIM card
Full installation instructions including video demonstrations
Additional Information:
The wrist worn falls detector and digital alarm base unit have a range of up to 50 metres
It is also incredibly simple to install. Just connect the supplied AC adapter to any electrical socket in the home and it is good to go
The base unit does not need to connect to an existing phone line. The unit comes with a in-built SIM card that will “roam” onto the strongest mobile network
Not only does this give you the flexibility to place the alarm anywhere in your home (signal strength dependant) but also future proofs you for the analogue to digital switchover that is currently underway
The personal falls detector alarm automatically sends an alert to us when a fall is detected.
It will immediately connect your loved one to our Lifeline Alarm Response Centre.
The personal alarm also includes a button which can be pressed and connects to our Lifeline Alarm Response Centre immediately.
Your loved one will then be able to speak to an operator for help and reassurance.
Our dedicated team of operators are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You can rest assured that help is close at hand, should your loved one need it.

“I’m benefitting from the best of both worlds – I’m living in my own home at peace and I’ve also got help when I need it.”

If you are worried about falling, are at risk of falling due to having limited mobility or after a diagnosis of a health condition or disability, or have started falling unexpectedly or more often at home, Progress Lifeline’s falls package can provide peace of mind and assistance to you when, or if, you fall.
The falls detector alarm package includes the Lifeline base unit, a falls detector alarm worn as a watch, and 24/7, 365 days a year alarm centre response monitoring.
You can also choose to include the emergency home response with assistive lifting service as part of your falls alarms package from Progress Lifeline for an additional £14.99 per month. Please check to ensure that we provide EHR in your area first by using our post code checker.
The Falls detector automatically* detects your fall and without the need to press the button, and sends an alert to the Progress Lifeline alarm response centre. An operator will receive the alert, speak with you via the Lifeline equipment and arrange for help. You can also manually press the pendant/watch to contact the alarm response centre if you fall or need help.
In comparison the digital alarm unit lifeline package does not automatically sense that you have fallen. You are required to press the button to contact the alarm response centre for help after a fall.
*Please note that not all falls may be detected by the equipment, such as when a fall is broken by a chair or similar. Where possible, after a fall, you should always additionally press the help button. More information about falls detection is available from the Progress Lifeline customer service team on 03333 204 999.
The falls telecare equipment from Progress Lifeline does not prevent you falling. It does however, immediately alert us if you have fallen, so that we can get help to you as quickly as possible after you fall, and prevent potential further injury to you caused by long waits for help.
Depending on whether or not you have been injured by your fall, our alarm response centre may send your family and friend emergency contacts or an ambulance to your property to assist you. If you have chosen to include the emergency home response with assistive lifting service as part of your falls alarm package from Progress Lifeline, we will send out a responder.
Additionally, we offer a referral to the NHS falls referral service, who may arrange for adaptations and equipment in your home which can help prevent future falls.
The automatic falls detector alarm removes the need for you to move to get to your phone to ring for help after you fall, potentially causing further injury. The falls detector alarm provides peace of mind to you and your family that help will be sent immediately should you fall.
Yes, the falls detector alarm, provided as part of the falls alarm package, will detect falls up to 50m (164 feet) from the Lifeline base unit (normally connected to your telephone socket) in your home.
For most average-sized properties, this means that the equipment will work in any room of your house, on your drive and in your garden.
Our Progress Lifeline falls alarm package cost just £23.99 per month (with a £38 set up fee).
